Mini-Workshop: RePurpose: New Perspectives of Found Art with May Maylisa Cat

11/23/2020 02:00 PM - 11/25/2020 03:30 PM PT

Description

Meets Monday and Weds November 23 and November 25 | 2-2:30pm

In this two-part studio workshop, students will collect everyday items from around their domestic environments and repurpose them into art objects. We’ll make new meanings out of the mundane in our COVID-era lockdown, assembling something extraordinary out of the ordinary, and blending reality with fantasy. Your found art materials might include anything from discarded clothes, magazines, bike parts, trophies or umbrellas to kitchen appliances, furniture, lamps, or old phones. Anything can be repurposed!
