08/16/2023 10:00 AM - 08/26/2023 04:00 PM PT

Description

  • Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays August 16 - August 26
  • 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Plus: One virtual meet-up in the week leading up to our first session (to be scheduled.)

We want to see and hear you speak/play/sing/rap/ groove and get a clear taste of how you express yourself. In addition to registering, please email jordan@bodeckerfound.org with a video explaining how you express yourself musically. Please also include a photo and links to any recorded works or performances you’d like to share with us. No previous recording experience is necessary, but participants should feel relatively comfortable in their playing, performing or producing talents and bring a willingness to improvise, stumble and succeed in a supportive group environment.

Students will embark on a six-session, two-week journey together as a team under the guidance of local pro performing musician/producers Matt Alber, Tony Ozier, and Jolly Wrapper. Working in collaboration as a team of musicians, writers, performers & producers, students will be working alongside their professional guides in a state- of-the-art recording studio, playing professional instruments and journey will culminate in a final day of filming an in-studio music video.
