5 weeks / VIRTUAL Tuesdays + Thursdays 1-3pm July 5-August 4th
Mixed media art is the combination of dry and wet materials. In this dynamic course, students will explore a range of mixed media materials and learn how to create with each.
The first part of the workshop will focus on familiarizing students with a variety of drawing materials such as graphite pencils, ink pens, markers, chalk pastel, and colored pencils. The second half will be spent exploring the basics of painting with watercolors and acrylics. Blending, layering, and color mixing will all be covered.
Jenna Gibson (she/her) is a fine artist, illustrator, and instructor. Her focus is figurative work, portraiture, mixed media, and illustration.
